Ministry of Tourism, Commerce & Industry agency is responsible for the registration of car dealers and the management of commercial vehicle import permits. As of 28th February 2023, there are 149 vehicle dealers registered in the TileSW system, and 1,194 motor vehicles import permits approved and issued since the live implementation on 01 March 2022

Statistics
Importation of vehicles for Private and Special agency required import permit from Customs Authority. TileSW has automated this process to facilitate trade whereby application, processing, and approval of the permits are done online. The automated process has reduced time and cost of trade whilst control has been enhanced. Go-live on 05 April 2022, and the statistical data up to 28th February 2023 shows that there are 151 import permits approved in the TileSW system
